Bleeding Heart

What I should say, I suppose, is that everyone in Southeast knows the usual bleeding hearts, their pink flowers with the white tear dropping down below This perennial poem of a flower spreads about 30″ tall and wide and mounds as its root mass grows. Hardy enough to live in Juneau and anywhere else in Southeast, this bloomer will come back year over year. A sun or shade tolerant plant, it partners well with ferns and Hostas to make a shady corner of your yard a lush masterpiece.
