Everyone knows pansies. These beautiful little faces shine up from the flower bed or down from the hanging basket. We love pansies here at Landscape Alaska, as you may have noticed from our logo. For all of our 30+ years of business, the pansy has been our emblem. What’s great about them is that as the season goes on and the flowers come on, age, and are damaged from the natural wear and tear of being a flower in a rainforest, you can just cut them back and they will continue to sprout new stalks, new buds, and new blooms. Like all annuals they benefit from a few doses of liquid fertilizer during the bloom period. As long as they get a few hours of sunshine a day they’re happy.
