Weeping Norway Spruce, Picea abies pendula

Another Landscape Alaska favorite, the Weeping Norway Spruce droops low in a sweeping cascade of bright green branches that almost resembles a cape. One of the reasons we love this variety is because of how it rewards your creativity. It’s langorous form allows you to experiment with walls, trellaces, boulders, and buildings. Try training it, or planting it next to a steep drop and let its slow growing tendrils cascade over the edge. For tips and questions, email landscapealaska@gmail.com, or call 907-321-4149
